Snopczynski
Hey folks, looking to have a xmas eve hot tub party here in Washington. We used the tub on Saturday (everything worked great), drained it last night, and refilled it today. I turned the breaker to the tub back on, and pump 1 turns on/off/on/off/on/off over and over and over again. Intervals at about just under a second. Light on the control panel blinks on/off as the pump turns on/off. Pump 2 works fine at all 3 motor settings (off, low, High). I messed with all the buttons on the control panel with no change. It does say Pr (prime mode) on the screen when I fist turn on the breaker. I have let the pump run for about 5 minutes, still no change. I cracked loose the pump fittings to see of the system had some air lock issue, no change. As the pump turns on/off over and over again, I can hear a relay clicking down in the control box. I opened the drain and bled out any air there. The tub was left uncovered last night, and it did rain here. Pump 2 was replaced on the tub 2 weeks ago. Only other thing I can think of is air in the heater element tube causing the relay to shut the pump on/off. I also put pics below of the components this spa has. Anyone have any ideas? Snopczynski
The pump is doing the same thing as the pump shown in this video. (the one in the video is not my setup though).
