machine245
Hello Everyone, I have an early 2000's Caldera Geneva Paradise. My tub sat for a long while empty. I decided to get it running again, I did have a new heater and circ pump put in a few years back. Filled it up, replaced the filter, turned on and got a FLO code after a couple of minutes. Replaced the pressure switch with a new one, pulled apart the circ pump (it spins and has no debris in it), unhooked the heater and flushed it with the garden hose. Turned it back on circ pump kicks on and begins to flow, then the heater kicks on and after a minute or so, the heater and circ pump shuts off and a FLO code pops up on the top display. Any help would be much appreciated. JB
Loopcity
Sounds like the filter may be clogged. How old is your filter? How long since you cleaned it? What method did you use to clean it? You can test this by turning off the breaker, ensuring that there is no debris in the tub, removing the filter, then turn the breaker back on. If it works after you eliminate the filter, then you know it was the filter. Good luck!
Caldera Spas
Hi machine245, Can you confirm which pressure switch was used as a replacement? May be the wrong one? It should be part# 72717. Also if you can get the spa's serial# we could confirm what size circ pump is needed. Thanks, Steve ---Caldera Spas---
machine245
Sorry for the delayed response. Loop city - the filter is brand new. Steve - pressure switch is a Tecmark 3037p, E5 circ pump 74427. Serial-GEA2C1056. Thanks for the help.
