In.xe Programming Question

Hi,

I have a spa with the Gecko in.xe spa pack and the k.450 keypad. I'd like to make a change to the programming. I found the tech book on the geckoalliance website and it gives details on how to modify the field options by holding down the Prog key for 30 seconds. However after I do that it seems to take me to the last parameter (input current) in the table. I can change that option (not that I want to) but there doesn't seem to be any way to step through the other parameters to get to the one want to change.

Does anyone have any experience with programming the pack? Is there some other hidden key press sequence I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I have a fair amount of experience with this particular controller. I don't know what you are trying to do, but most of these controllers are programmed to only allow a change in the ampacity setting. Most other programming changes require a special programming fob from Gecko specifically for your controller. See this Gecko video:

Thanks for the reply and link to the video.

The in.xe tech book indicates that there are multiple parameters that can be field configured. I wanted to change the filter cycle config parameter "FL._". I'm guessing that you must need to order the pack as a generic to get at all the options and/or my pack was locked down when it was initially programmed.

Most of those packs come through pretty much locked down with few options readily available for programming in the field. Your only recourse may be to call your tub manufacturer or Gecko with your tub info and ask for a programming fob with your updated settings...............if they will oblige.
