ur_too_crazy
I've had my spa for a little under 1 year and noticed some little hairline cracks on one of the corners of the spa shell. I can't actually feel the cracks but I can see how they developed under the clear coat(?) finish. They don't seem to pose any problem since water doesn't touch this part of the spa, but I'm afraid they will become more important and spread. Should this concern me. Should I contact my dealer or just leave it alone. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/191/picture001qg.jpg/
PreservedSwine
That looks like crazing. Not a big deal structurally, but I'd contact the dealer and have it repaired/replaced while still under warranty.
THE SPA GUY
yes i would agree that looks like crazing,,, it should not pose a problem, as for warranty most warranties will cover splitting, cracking , delaminating, but not crazing,,,,
ur_too_crazy
Crazing......Thank you that's exactly what it is (after googling crazing it seems to be the same type of cracks) The spa tech is coming over for an unrelated issue so I'll have him take a look at it. Thanks all.
