KdgHi Posted June 12, 2011 Report Share Posted June 12, 2011 We just bought a used hot tub. Hooked it up and it worked fine for approx. 20 minutes. My hubby opened the filter box to figure out exactly how it took in water. We turned the jets off and on and it no longer worked. When we turn it on it just hums the first click or so like it's trying and then it will only click if you push the button. Any ideas? I'm hoping it's not a burned up pump. If you just hear a hum coming from the motor then a clicking sound when pushing the button. I would believe that you have a siezed pump or maybe a dry spot.
