going2baja
Starting a remodel on an 80x20 3.5=>11' deep. It should be close to 80,000 gallons. Is this too large for a salt system? Anyone care to recommend a Salt system for a large size pool if indeed it will work? Thanks, Baja.

It is not too large for a salt system but you might need more than one cell to produce enough chlorine since most residentail units have cells rates for 40k gallons or less. However, running two or more cells on larger pools is pretty standard but you might need a commercial controller for the cells to accommodate multiple cells. This depends on the manufacturer. I would suggest starting there and contacting some of them. Check out AutolPilot, WaterMaid, and Goldline. They are three dependable units with good track records.
