Darko
Good day everybody. This morning I went out to check the chemicals on the pool and hot tub. I noticed the hot tub was at 99 degrees. A few hours later it had reached 100. The temp was set at 80 degrees. I turned on the jets with the air to try cool it down. Next time I checked the heat was at 104 degrees. The heater is not turned on but seems to still be working. I have a Keys Backyard spa. I am not sure who I would even contact now since they went out of buisness. I thank you for any help you can give. Darko
SpaTechincian
sounds like it could be a stuck heater relay. I would call a repair company and get them out there to check out your problem. Also check your filtration cycle setting. If for some reason the filter cycle got bumped up by accident then the extra run time on the pump could cause the water to over heat. Darko
I did check the settings (Cuz I have kids who love to play with buttons LOL). The relay sounds like it could be the problem. Where could I find this? Is it in with the heater? I will see if I can fix it as things are tight $ wise. Is there anywhere I might find schematics for a Keys Back Yard Spa? I can not seem to find any with the tub. The electricians who installed it either took them or lost them. Thank you for your help.
