stilloriginal
We have gotten a few quotes to refinish our pool. How long should this process take? One quote we received was for a full week, another quote said the job would be completed in 3 days. This quote was obviously cheaper but I am concerned that they aren't "doing it right". They want 1 day to drain the pool, one day to prep it, and on the 3rd day they will spray it with the new surface and fill it with water the same day. Does this sound right? Pool Clown
That is generally how long it takes. The other guy may want to wait and extra day for the bond coat(prep). Did you inquire as to what the extra days are for? Some guys have extra steps; sand, or water blasting. If there is no bond coat used, the extra time could be for a couple of guys to rough up the surface mechanically.
richard1970
We recommend and use the Dustless Blasting system with crushed glass or sand. The DB system mixes water with the media to keep the dust down so it doesn't get all over everything else around the house / yard. With the DB system and crushed glass or sand, we can remove the plaster very efficiently.
