I have it in the deep end and it seems to be working fine, it does a full turn every minute. Has anyone used one of these before? Are they as good as they state they are? Is it just a "toy". My hang up is the purpose in jets is to circulate your pool counterclosewise (above the equator) to improve your skimmers. So if you're going to circulate all jets a full revolution every minute your pool runs... then how well do your skimmers work? I don't know. The concept is great, if you take out the above scenario.
