I have an 18 x 36 inground pool with a vinal liner and salt system. There has always been some wrinkles in the liner but it seems this year they are getting bigger. The liner is not pulling off the wall. They are almost 1 inch in some areas. I also have a second issue, I am starting to get a brown stain on the liner under the water in the corners on only 1 side of the pool going down toward the deep end. Any good way to clean them? The pool is crystal clear and chemicals correct.

My SWG came with a circulator to be used in the return. I have it in the deep end and it seems to be working fine, it does a full turn every minute. Has anyone used one of these before? Are they as good as they state they are? Is it just a "toy". I would like to hear what your opinions are.

I added 4 gal 12% liquid pool shock, 1.5 lbs Stabilizer, 32oz clarifier. Water is getting clearer, 90% visible on deep end. Had water tested at pool store today. ZERO free chlorine, Zero stabilizer, 7.3ph, 133 alk. I bought 2 lbs stabilizer added. I have my filter and generator (at 70%) running 24/7. I see some talk of ammonia being some problems. Do pool stores ever test for that? Does it sound like it may be my issue? How much more liquid chlorine should I add? It is $3 a gallon here for 12%. Any ideas?

I was wondering what the best way to test salt level in the pool was. My Circupool system does a salt test and comes back with 3100-3300 range. At the pool stores 1 place uses an electrical meter and it is around 3000 and another store uses the strips and it reads 2100. Any help?

Inground 18x36 3ft-9ft (26K Gal) Using circupool salt system 2nd season. Opened up 5/30/2010, very cloudy, possible algae. had water tested, 0 fc, 0 tc, 7.5 ph, 150 ta, 0 stab, salt 3100. Added 16 oz algaecide, 1 gallon water cond & stabilizer, then 32oz clarifier (8 hours between with constant filter & 2 vac jobs) ran 2 cycles of superchlor on SWG 24 hours of 100%, no CYA or chlor readings. Added 3 bags rebound, 2 days constant filter with 70% SWG setting and new filter cartridge. Had phosphates tested, low level. Ran another superchlor 100% SWG, added 16 oz clarifier, filter 24 hours, still not "clear". I can see shallow end clear and about 1/2 way down on deep end. I need to get a reading on chlor, should I add 3 more bags rebound? Go to Chlorox liquid? Add more stabilizer? I also get different readings from different pool stores. 2 read 0 chlor and 1 read 2 chlor. My home test shows almost 0 chlor. Tired of throwing crap and money into pool. Please help.
