cramp11
Strange question, but I thought I'd ask to end the debate I'm having with someone... Do people leave their air jets on all the time or only turn them on when they use the tub? I know someone that leaves them on all the time. Pros/Cons of leaving them on? I thought it was bad, but maybe I'm wrong. I turn mine off when I'm not using it. Cramp
Dr. Spa
Cons... You're drawing in cold air from the outside greatly increasing your heating costs. Any air borne mold, mildew, bacteria and dirt is being introduced onto the water.
quantumchromodynamics
Also, the constant aeration will cause the pH to rise.
cramp11
Merci... I passed the message on. He's turning off air when he's not using it. His pH was always high. Maybe that's why.
