pkillur
So, it always starts with a zealous friend, right? I was hanging in the tub last night with my wife and a friend who decided that the diverter valve was "too stuck" and cranked it to the left "more" because there was too much pressure on the right side. The valve seems like it either blew and o ring or just flat out stripped out. Unfortunately it's cranked to the left and is creating a chair of doom for anyone who sits there (5 HP of water to one chair is a LOT of force...) I really don't want to replumb the stupid thing since I really love plast-aid and glue, but not enough to use it unnecessarily. It's leaking out of the handle in one place, and I'm wondering if I take it out to see if I can figure out why it's not turning and maybe sand off / brush off any accumulated gunk, or if it's just way easier to replace the guts? If so, where is the cheapest place to order from? I'm pretty sure it's a waterway 2 inch 2 way / 3 way diverter. Water comes up from the pump into the diverter and out either side. Also - is it possible to swap it out with one of the LED versions I saw online? I currently have a 12v light bulb, but no LED lighting. -PKil
