Can A High Ch Remove Tiles?

No, high calcium cannot cause tile to be lost.

what about the scaling? doesn't the grout get removed?

ok thanks so scale is really just a build up on the pool wall and floor surface?

I think it is the opposite. Low CH causes the water to pull from the plaster and grout. This could losen tiles. What say the experts?

I agree with the above that a low saturation index, which can be from a very low CH or from low TA and especially from low pH, can dissolve the calcium carbonate in grout and thereby loosen tiles. The opposite situation of a high saturation index, say from high CH, could form scale but I don't see how that would loosen tile.
