JPB
Just got a tundra legend and was thinking to put an aftermarket ozonator (like the Del MCD-50 High Output Ozonator Kit that you can get on hot tub essentials website). I was told by Arctic that it would cost me 700-800 to get one installed since drilling and jet install is required. I would have thought that rough in for the ozonator is already built-in? The ozonator kit on that website is only $200 for a good one....anyone know anything about this tub or how i could do this on my own? I have a hard time believing that it would cost $800 to add this.. thanks, jpb
ttrublue
Your dealer is pricing a factory " Arctic Ozone" system and yes drilling to instal ozone jet/mixing chamber is required. This system,IMHO,would be out preform aftermarket units due to the fact it has a mixing chamber not just a mazzi injector.
