shadowfax516
New to the forum , but have been gathering some good advice. I'm a relative newbie to spas (6 months), and own a sundance altamar - 6 months old. I'm paying $175.00 for non washable filters and would like to know if I have any alternatives to the dealer. Preferably a quality, washable filter from an aftermarket manufacterer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Bob

Thanks Bob The 6540-488 (Unicel C-8326) Cleanable filter lasts much longer, exact replacement for 6540-507!
Pool Clown
Wow $175 for a one time use filter? Get a filter like the one stated above and don't pay more than about $100. My Altamar manual says, i think, clean the filter every month. That would get expensive, and old real fast.

It even underlines the do not attempt to clean. I'm going to order the unicel today.
