I am spending the summer doing research, etc. We have decided on a dark pool for that lagoon look. We are not sure about perimeter tile but I was wondering if any of you out there had that dark lagoon look and perimeter tile? lasik1 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 I assume you are referring to waterline tile- the consensus seems to be that it isn't necessary, but prevents damaging the finish of the pool if you need to clean a "bathtub ring" and also helps with leveling the look of the waterline if necessary. Our pool is a dark blue granite look finish, we tried many samples of tile, none of the patttern tiles looked right, so we went with solid blue 2x2 glass and we like it.
