imnay Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 I can't imagine running a spa filter for much more than a single 10 minute "cleaning" timed cycle per day for such a small volume of water so long as all levels are good including base sanitizer and especially if you are running an ozonator. Our pool has over 22k gallons and we seldom run the filter longer than 4 to 5 hrs per day. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stuart A Posted June 14, 2009 Report Share Posted June 14, 2009 Earlier this year I reduced my main filter/flushing cycle to twice a day for 10 minutes each. I still do not have any water quality issues so I think I will leave it at that. I also have a 24 hour circulation pump, which filters a bit as well, but not as good as the main pumps.
