nurlogorp
well the bottom is worse than I thought.. It is horrible!! Huge pockets and ripples.. My husband spoke to the place that installed the pool He said they used a hand tamper... and that even if he came back out and re-do it, It will not be smooth on the bottom.. They got into an argument as well... so now not sure what to do.. anyone have any suggestions.. Im thinking about getting another company over here, checking it out and letting us know if it can be better, how much it will cost and then take the other guy to small claims court.. Pathfinder
Your builder is either very lazy or just doesn't care because he has your money already. With the water sitting in it for the winter you should have some decent compaction now and the new company can level out re-pack & put your liner back in. After the conversation with your original builder im surprised he was able to build the pool in the first place. All the best in getting everything resolved. I dont know the entire conversation between him and my husband but he was a jerk that is for sure.
