hippy95 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 Hey there, need a new pool cleaner the hopeless baracuda classic finally packed it in after years off terrible cleaning and now i am looking for a new cleaner have heard great things about the hayward pool vac ultra, any thoughts or suggestions? coo6776 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 The pool vac is one of the most reliable and longest lasting suction cleaners, but they do have several moving parts and a couple of wear parts that need to be replaced every so often. I would take a look at the new barracuda x7 quattro. I like these cleaners because the only moving part is the diaphragm and on this new cleaner they have solved some old problems such as adding swivels in the hose sections to help prevent tangling and a smaller head unit that pivots to prevent it from getting stuck in corners.
