JohnKow
I recently have discovered a problem with my Aquapure system 700. The outside display show 0% and flashes "Lo". The flow light comes on and off. The cell reversing light is on. I cleaned the cell with Muriatic Acid and water but no change. The salt level is 3100 ppm. Also when I turn on my PDA it doesn’t show the water temp or salinity anymore. Is it the water flow sensor? I removed it and cleaned it like the book says. Anyway to test it with a OHM meter or voltage meter? I am not getting any service codes except for the "Lo". I called Jandy and they said it could be the board also. The unit is 2-years old and out of warranty. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John
Pool Clown
Surprised they (Jandy) said that John. Lo means the water temp has exceeded the workable range of the unit (low). I think, and don't hold me to it, 58 degrees is the low temp shut off. I tell the owner to wait till the temp comes up, then see if other faults still persist / exist (flow light on and off, no read out, etc.). JohnKow
Thanks but the pool water is 72 degrees. I used a manual thermometer. The pool is located in Southwest Florida.
Pool Clown
If the flow lcd is showing flow, no flow, It may be the sensor that screws in near the cell (1 1/2 thread) take it out and make sure there is no build up on it. Scrub it with scotchbrite pad. A bad sens may give a "Lo", bad salt reading, bad temp or no temp display.
