lrodptl
Earlier today I pressure tested my suction lines which were good but on pump restart a blast of dirt came out the return line then cleared. I disassembled the filter which had mud in it and was filthyand I cleaned everything.I restarted the pump and got a new blast of dirt which then cleared. Suction leak even though the pressure test was good? The fittings are exposed and I see no leaks.
gutsrus
I restarted the pump and got a new blast of dirt which then cleared. What kind of filter? Does it have the collection manifold at the bottom or on top of the cartridges?
MissionElectric Guy
have you checked for holes in your grids? or major cracks in the top manifold? these are usually the problems
lrodptl
have you checked for holes in your grids? or major cracks in the top manifold? these are usually the problems I actually found that dirt had accumulated and compacted inside the temprary ribbed return line from when the suction line initially failed. All is now well with the suction side and I'm tackling the return side next week.
