ultima4700
1st Im a new spa owner, After about the 3rd time using the hot tub with the wife no clothing temp about 95-98 I like it cooler. The water was cloudy I have the Nature 2 spa purifier it the tub. when I went to my local spa dealer he gave me some shock he told me I don’t need any thing ells with the Nature 2 in the tub just add shock 1 time a week. I added 3.5oz of the shock like the directions say but the water didn’t clear up waited 2 days with pump running 6hrs a day. Today I started new drained it cleaned filters put fresh water in why didn’t the shock work?

ultima4700
thanks for the help I went to my spa place and they ran a test on my water. my Alkalinity was low and I have to add chlorine then shock. what they told me is that it takes 2tbl spoons of chlorine to start the nature 2 then all should be good I hope
