Dan&Dee
We are new hot tub owners and are having trouble getting clear water in our hot tub. We do have a house filter on all water that comes into the house from our well and ulitmately in the hot tub. This filter takes out all the fine sandy debris but due to the length of time it takes to fill the tub, the water is cloudy and disgusting. Is there anything we can use that will make our water clear? If we turn on the tub, the filter gets clogged and turns off. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. You need to use a filter the attaches to the end of your hose, a higher quality one. They have some that are charcol type that filter out impurities down to .5 microns. If you don't you are going to damage the tub. You may want to flush/shop vac out whatever water is in there now to get out the stuff that is clogging your filter. After filling your tub via a carbon filter, bring a sample to have tested at your local store to make sure there is nothing "bad" left in the water.
