new1
we are considering a soft side above ground pool and I would like feedback from Splash superpool vs. the Advantage one. We are looking for aprox. 14 x 22 (or thereabouts). The advantage pool looks about the same, but is less expensive than the Spash. thank you!! new1
I have been looking on line, there is also a Doughboy pool that is softsided. I am just trying to get the best pool for my money, so any opinions are greatly appreciated! thank you!
terrie
I looked at at both pools you mentioned and i would go with the splash pool. I just put up a legacy pool soft side pool and am very pleased with it. The only problem i have is that the legs have sunk into the ground a bit due to the weight of the pool. It look like the splash pool has really thought this out and have included the "spash blox" to distribute the weight of each leg. I was going to place patio blocks under each leg but I may just order a set of the splash blox since the splash pool leg design is very similar to the legacy. I also put down a layer of perfect bottom between the poo land the ground for extra protection from weeds and rocks.
Nancy K
Hi I own a splash pool! These pools are so expensive because they are made to last! Mine was not bought new & I am having so many problems out of it. I talked to a splash representive today & they sell reconditioned pools that are quite a few dollars less. My pool was around $7000 a few yrs ago now $5,000 but you can get a perfectly good reconditioned pool from them the same size 13X25.5x4ft for $1,500 with a good warrenty. The cheap knock off are exactly that a cheap knockoff, Intex even makes these pools now. The splash foot blox is a wonderful add on instead of using patio bricks as one of my legs on corner slid off Hope this helps you!!!!!!!!! Good Luck, Nancy
