ps558
Any harm in having solar covers on the water while Polaris runs underneath? What model polaris do you have? If it one that the main body floats on top of the water and drags a bag. that would be a polaris 65,165 or turbo turle the answer is no. If you have a 280,360,380, ATV give it a try. If it is a 280,360,380 I would recommend reducing the whip hose action a little and pull the float head back about 1/4 of an inch. This will reduce the climbing affect of the cleaner

It seems like you are the one who regularly replies the posts here. I appreciate that. Being a first time pool owner it is a learning curve. BillinKingstonSprings
I have a solar cover and a Polaris 280 with booster pump. You are wasting your time running the cleaner with the solar cover floating on the pool. The Polaris hose floats on the water also and the cover will not allow it to travel as it should. The result would be poor cleaning performance.
