How To Raise Chlorine, When Everything Else Seems Perfect?

Recommended Posts

We hope someone can help us. We have had our pool open for about a week now, but our chlorine level still reads 0. All of the other readings such as alkalinity, ph, cyanuric acid, and hardness are within a good range, but the chlorine has been a hassle. The water is sparkling blue, very clear, but the chlorine level (total and free) is still at 0. We have super shocked it twice with 2lbs each time and even have our chlorine tablets on our pump all the way up. What is our problem? This is frustrating. Thanks for any assistance.
