AntFL
Hello, I just had my pool re-modeled and added the Auto Pilot Salt Generator. Tomorrow will be two weeks since the pool has been filled and chemicals were added. My chlorine level is balanced correctly as of a few days ago. My concern is the Purifier % still reads 100%, is this normal? Thanks in advance, Ant

Although you should monitor your chlorine levels over next few weeks and if it gets too high, reduce the output. Unless you reduce it it will always be 100% because that's what it's set at. AntFL
Thanks for the reply. So if the purifier is running at 100% would that cause the cell to wear out faster?
Strannik
Thanks for the reply. So if the purifier is running at 100% would that cause the cell to wear out faster? Yes. Usually you need to find a correct setting for your chlorinator by adjusting chlorine output and testing chlorine every 1-2 weeks to see if it stays at the level you want. So adjust lower, wait 2 weeks, test water to make sure your level of chlorine doesn't drop below the desired level, then adjust again and so on, until you find the setting where it starts dropping below the required level. Once you noticed it started dropping - start going up until it stops dropping and leave it there..

Do one half of the interval each time, and you will nail it pretty soon
