HotSpringSanDiego
After 3 years, my Hot Springs Grandee spa cover has failed me. I went to open the cover after a rain and it was completely water-logged. I took extremely good care of it by cleaning it and applying conditioner regularly. I called my local Hot Springs Spa dealer and they stated that 3 years is about average life for a spa cover. I had no idea the lifespan of these things are so short and the replacements are so expensive. They quoted me almost $500 for the replacement. Any other recommendations on a spa cover that might last longer than 3 years in San Diego's mild weather climate?

But that doesn't mean you will get more than 3 years out of it.
Dr. Spa
I sure hope so! We warrant them for longer than that.
Chas
Do you have a lifter on this Grandee?
HotSpringSanDiego
Do you have a lifter on this Grandee? I have a bar that the cover folds over and then lifts it to the side of the spa. It works great unless the cover is waterlogged which makes it very heavy (like it is now)... Dr. Spa
There's still that "spam" issue I need to tip-toe around.
