countrygal Posted November 16, 2007 Report Share Posted November 16, 2007 You can use Baking Soda to increase the TA without increasing the pH. Then use Muriatic Acid or Dry Acid to bring both the TA and pH down. See my prior topic titled: Using Muriatic Acid to bring down pH. Chem Geek has explained this process very well and he included another post which further explains it. I am in the process of doing just that and it is working out fine. Good Luck.
