  1. Well thanks, I may not be exactly level headed all the time but but I do hate getting, and seeing others ripped off.
  2. RUSTYC writes: HEY!!!!If I am working for WaveTec WHERE IS MAY CHECK??????????and I talk about swimming in the pool is because that what I bought the pool for..DUH..Every company has problems and I am sorry that you have a problem BUT DO YOU HAVE TO COMPLANE ON EVERY POSSIBLE WEB SITE---Like I told you before if you need an lawyer I can give you a name---Even the best companies have problems--and you talk about ALL the people complaning in all the listing there are about 4 or 5 of you complaning and you talk about changing their names-companies change there names everyday.Again I am sorry tthat you are having problems but no everbody are having problems Dear RUSTYC, Yes, please provide your “lawyer’s” name and number. While I don’t mean to offend you personally, I’m afraid the logic of this issue may be beyond your grasp. May I also suggest you use a spell checker for future posts. Again please pass along your recommendation for a good attorney, if indeed you know of one. I will personally contact him.
  3. Poollady writes: If you want to bi**h about your pool in the El Paso area, that's fine. But this is a national forum, the rest of us don't need to hear about your problems. Dear Poollady: 1. Last time I checked, El Paso TX was still part of our nation. 2. Wave Tec claims: Since the founding of Wave Tec Pools, Inc. in 1998, we have served customers in over 100 cities across the nation. From Texas to Georgia, we continue to grow each year. If that isn't national, I don't know what is. 3. If even one family is spared the agony these customers are going through, then the posts are validated and surely you can simply choose not to view any Wave Tec topics. 4. Since when do you speak for "the rest of us" ?
  4. RUSTYC writes Look I sorry that a few folks are having problem with Wave Tec---Either go there office and talk to somebody or get an attorney--BUT GIVE IT A REST---Wave Tec started my pool on April 4 and April 14 my family was swimming--Frank the contractor was Great kept me informed everyday, and when they finished they clean the area and showed us how to use the equipement--The little cleaner that rolls on the bottom keeps the pool very clean and I do not have do very little extra cleaning except on the stairs and on the side---If I have a question or problem all I have to do is call Frank or go to the office, they have been very friendly and helpful--If somebody is think about having Wave Tec to install and see the list of people complaning just look WHO'S complaning it's the same people--WaveTec did no become one of the top builders by pissing people off. Well, well, well, I've been following the Wave Tec posts for some time and I'm sure those of you who've done likewise must agree this company has some customer service “problems”. What puzzles me is the motivation of Wave Tec's "cheerleader" RUSTYC. "Look I (sic) sorry that a few folks are having problem (sic) with Wave Tec" Rusty, few is rather an understatement. "BUT GIVE IT A REST" Why oh why, Rusty should it bother you that these people complain because they are not satisfied? Notice RUSTYC joined this forum on April 13, 2006 just after this post on April 12 mentions a class action lawsuit: I am also a Wave Tec Victim! They are still in business and I call them everyday to get more excuses. They need to be stopped. ANyone know of a class action being taken against them please let me know. We have been trying a year and making payments and the pool is still not fixed. We can't even use it the liner was being replaced but now is just sitting there because the drunk contractor the hired to fix it can't be found! Thanks Valerie Notice also that RUSTYC joins one day before his pool is miraculously completed - 10 days from start to finish, Hmmmm. Our buddy RUSTYC claims "Wave Tec is the greatest" and that they are "one of the top builders" to which I echo the question: if Wave Tech is so great why did the BBB boot them? Why are there so many complaints against Wave Tec? Why would a "top builder" then change its name by adding INC. so it could re-list with the BBB? More to the point, why is old RUSTYC so intent on defending Wave Tec? Could he be a shill? His praise seems odd and he completely disregards the numerous and horrendous problems reported by other customers. Blame the sub-contractors? I wonder who selects the subs? Oh, that would be Wave Tec. No excuses. Made in the Shade chimed in with this post: My wife and I bought a Wave Tec pool in 2002. It took the crew about 4 weeks from ground breaking until we were filling the pool and swimming. Having owned 2 traditional gunite pools in the past I knew I didnt want to buy another "money pit". We have been completely impressed with the pool and it has held up amazingly. The pools come with a 25 year warranty so if you guys are having problems I would suggest you call them and have them come take a look. We paid around $40K for our pool and it was worth every penny. MS Now Made in the Shade may or may not be a legit customer but the fact that he suggests “call them and have them come take a look” indicates that he has not read the abysmal follow up by Wave Tec on numerous complaints, which I find hard to believe. Mr. Shade, they have called, and called. And why exactly were your previous gunite pools “money pits” ? Its funny how Mr. shade joined the forum two weeks before RUSTYC (even though his Wave Tec pool was installed four years ago) and his only two posts praise Wave Tec as well. You, the "customers", would know if Wave Tec does indeed offer a 25 year warranty but my brief inspection of their web site makes no mention of ANY warranty whatsoever, hmmmm. Is it just me? Doesn’t it seem strange that RUSTYC and Made in the Shade use virtually the same language to describe the construction start date and when they all began “SWIMMING” ? Compare the two sentences: RUSTYC Wave Tec started my pool on April 4 and April 14 my family was swimming Made in the Shade It took the crew about 4 weeks from ground breaking until we were filling the pool and swimming What do you think? Honest customer feedback or company shills? In any case, eruiz, Mike in EL Paso, hardy, Christie, hdherweck, pissedoffowner and all other Wave Tec “customers” I truly feel your pain and strongly suggest you all get together along with any other unhappy Wave Tec “customers” contact an attorney and file a class action lawsuit. It makes me sick to hear everything you have all gone through. Take them to the mat! What is my motivation? I joined this forum to get info on spas but when I read all the negative Wave Tec posts, checked with the BBB and inspected the Wave Tec website I wanted to offer my support to those who are suffering. Any company with this many complaints, who dodges the BBB rating system by a simple name change deserves to be held accountable. Those of you who defend Wave Tec are either shilling for them or can't accept the fact that Wave Tec has unsatisfied customers; either way you further insult the honest and hardworking people who have paid good money for, as they have stated, poor goods and service. Even if your Wave Tec pool was installed on time and ended up perfect, do you think these people are making this up? Don't you think they deserve the same "satisfaction" you recieved? Again, refer to the BBB data.
