waterbear Posted April 27, 2012 Report Posted April 27, 2012 Your best bet would be to contact a few fiberglass installers in your area that install one of the major brands (San Juan, Blue Hawaiian, VIking) and ask for their LAST 5 installs with the dates completed (NOT a list of references or satisfied customers--these will obviously be glowing reviews).. Contact these people and see if they are satisfied and if there were any problems. This way you can get an idea of the CURRENT work the installer is doing. Work crews can changed, subcontractors can change, material suppliers can change, etc. Someone who had many satisfied customers 5 years ago might have a lot of unhappy customers today or vice versa! It would not hurt to get some earlier installs also to see if there were any problems after a few years that required repairs. Quote
