jmonaco Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 I am new to this forum, but I appear to have a common problem. I bought a foreclosure about 6 months ago, and have been fighting the pool ever since. I have a few issues, maybe someone can point me in the right direction. It appears the pool is sinking at the deep end. Appears the pool had a leak for sometime. The pool sits crooked and I can actually see between the cool decking and the top of the pool. I was told that I needed to fix it by a rep from the pool manufacturer. He was kind enough to come look at the installation and advise me. He told me the best thing to do was dig it up, and re-seat it, and reinstall it. Seems like a lot of work and money. I would imagine it could be done a different way. I am also looking for a fiberglass pool installer in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. I have had no luck with the manufacturers install company, they have never returned my calls. Please advise me what to do with this. I am to the point where I am regreting purchasing the house. Quote
RiverPoolsMarc Posted November 28, 2010 Report Posted November 28, 2010 I'm very sorry that you're going through this problem, but unfortunately, there is no better answer than that of re-installing the pool, as it's your only viable option....best of luck to you in this process. Quote
PoolGuyNJ Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Removing the shell will also allow you to discover what the problem with the supporting soil is. Scott Quote
