jesshayl1 Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 Any secrets to getting a good seal on a Jandy pool pump? I removed the O-ring. Not damaged in any way. I lubed it up good. Still won't seem to get full with water no matter what I do. Maybe I'm putting cover on wrong? Any insight you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Michelle Quote

Are you having air bubble problems? Check the pipe that comes into the pump. This is were alot of pumps suck air and reduce water in the pot. It will still prime and run but it only takes a little air to reduce it. If it has unions and can be removed you can retape it with teflon tape. If it can't be remove try a bead of silicone around the threads. Make sure the unions are tight and all valves that feed water to the pump are open Quote
