Jandy Laars Lite Model Lld - Gas Shutting Off

I have a Laars Lite LLD400N Pool heater. The unit starts but soon after the gas shuts off. That's usually an indicator of thermocouple problem. The LLD model I have is an electronic and not gas pilot spark ignition system so I could not find thermocouple anywhere. I thought there might be a flame sensor instead. But looking at the wiring diagram, I noticed there isn't one of those either. What shuts off the gas after start on this type of pool heater? Also, how the heck do you get to the part that shuts off the gas? From the front or the top? The part I need to clean or replace has to be near the ignitor. But can't seem to figure how to get to that. Or find something near the flame to sense if flame is on or not.

First off you need to test and verify gas pressure before blaming the heater. Also check the pressure switch. This heater has no Thermocouple. If it lights them the ignitor is ok. You need to find out why the 24 volts is being shut off to the gas valve

Awesome, let me give that try. This unit is 9 yrs old. Has never given me probs. Will focus my efforts there and let you know how I make out. Worse case, replace the pressure switch. It's easy and only 65 beans retail.

Guess what? It was the pressure switch. $51 part. Easy to replace. Just replaced old w/ new and the burners fired up.

I have a similar problem with my pool heater. The make is a Teledyne Laars model# LLD400n. The unit ignites for about 3 seconds then shuts down, then it tries to fire up again and again with the same result. Each time it fires up the gas chamber ignites more violently until it finally shuts down completely between the 3rd and 6th time of trying to start up. I checked the pressure switch and I cleaned the pool filter already with no success. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
