fast43 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 We have installed a new Viking FIberglass pool this summer and as the summer has progressed. The smooth fiberglass sides now have a "speck-like" formation to them. It is not noticeable to the human eye as I have dove down to examine. However, when I rub my hand along the walls, I can feel this build-up. I think that it is some kind of metal build-up. When I filled the pool up when I installed it, it sat for nearly three weeks before I was able to hook up the filtration system and I am afrais something has attatched to the walls. Is there anything I can do to clean these wallls before I winterize the pool for the winter? Quote
don pool Posted September 15, 2008 Report Posted September 15, 2008 Although I don't install Viking Pools, I know what you are talking about. When you run your hand along the wall of the pool it feels rough under the water, but above the water it feels smooth. Viking could give you an explanation for this. You have not done anything yourself to cause it. Quote
