Hi Everyone,

First post here,Great site!... I would really appreciate some advice as to what auto pool vac works best and where to purchase online. We recently put in a 27' pool, no deck yet which makes vacuuming not so easy. Do I want something that hooks to my filter? or one of the robot type that you empty? Saving on my filter and less backwashing...Thanks in advance!!!

I like the Polaris turbo turtle for above ground pools. It connects to the return line so it leaves the skimmer open to do its job. It also has its own bag to collect debris. I think they can be bought right around the 200 buck range.

I think you said you have an Above Ground Pool. If that is the case, I would recommend a suction cleaner. The suction cleaner attaches to your skimmer and allows you to clean the bottom of your pool and suck the debri right into your filter. We sell many different kinds at our store. My opinion is you can't beat the the three models by Hayward. Diver Dave, AquaBug, and I forget the name of the third one. They retail for about $129 each. Many stores are discounting this time of year. You can pick them up for as little as $109 this time of year. We are a northeastern store and we have them on sale on our floor for $109. But I don't ship around the country. I have too much buisiness to be an internet company. You should run them for about 2 hours a day and your pool bottom will be spotless. Don't run them all day or you will wear them out in about one year. They run on the same technology as the Hayward Navigator or the Poolvac. Those two brands are the leading sellers for inground pools. I tell people they should last about three years if you properly maintain them. Can't beat a pool cleaner for about $40 a year. I do not think you need an AquaBot unit. Very expensive for an Above Ground Pool.

I can highly recomend the Aquabot Bravo pool cleaner. We have been the UK agents for around 5 years now and have had very few problems with them. These machines should not get stuck as they will always reverse if they have gone for too long in one direction. Have a look at our website if you require any further info on them.
