Dave, If you're still looking for a pool builder, try Concept Pools. I've seen their signs around Doylestown and Blue Bell. Joe
sharkman009
Anyone had any dealings with Aquasun Pools from Doylestown Pa.? I can't seem to find any info on them anywhere.I have been calling their office but get no respone anly an answering machine, What a way to run a business.. Thats a red flag. If you cant get them to call you when you want to buy something then you have a pretty good idea of what is going to happen after the sale with customer support. Your right thats no way to run a business. Make sure you do your homework on any contractor that you ay be considering. Talk to other customers and ask if they would use them again. Go look at other pools that they have built and I would request the names of customers that have had their pools for a few years that way you get a better idea of how they take care of their customers after the pool is finished. Check with the contractor to see that they do a complete startup with you after the pool is finished and that they teach you haw to take care of it. That is one of the biggest complaints that we hear about dealers in our area is they finished the pool and now we cant get them back out and we dont know what we are doing. Hope this helps. Working man
I have serviced, meaning winterized or opened several pool that Aquasun pools has constructed. They seem to do a very nice job, the quality of the pool is good. The best thing I hear from the customer is that they were very good people to work with, they bragged of the speedy installation, and great customer relationship. I dont hear this about to many pool companies, so my only info is a thumbs up One bad company in Doylestown is Artesian Pools. I work on way to many of their pools and all are problems. They also seem to have a lot of lawsuits, but do your own homework. The smaller pool companies will give you better service. Stay away from the large corporations. Hope everyone fares well in their search to build a pool. Walter

Joe Joe, you may have seen some signs for this company, however, I believe they are now bankrupt from doing poor work. I am not sure if you work in the industry or are just passing along some information. If your looking for information about a company to build a pool, be sure they have references, a minumum of 5 years local to where you live, and most importantly you are comfortable with the person who is helping you design the project. B.Flore
My family and I are located in solebury and we are planning on bringing out a number of pool builders out to our location this month bc we heard so many horror stories, is there anyone who you can reccomend locally that can actually show us some pools where we can talk to the homeowners rather then take us to some fancy showroom with elevator music and act like everything will go perfectly, like they do at Sylvann and Blue Haven. Thank you so much if you can help us. Barbara

It is funny that you said that WE had a appointment with the owner of aquasun and we could not believe how easy he makes the process to be, the owner not only coordinates the whole pool process but coordinates the entire construction from the excavation to the final garde and the fencing, this could not be any easier, thank you for telling us about aqua sun pools. i am sooo excited for them to start this upcoming march sincerley one extremely happy lady in buckingham barbara
fandango
glad Barbara had a good experience. AquaSun ruined our pool, bit off much more than he could chew. The owner is not honorable either, but he plays a good game when selling you a pool. BEWARE.

robmato
Anyone had any dealings with Aquasun Pools from Doylestown Pa.? I can't seem to find any info on them anywhere.I have been calling their office but get no respone anly an answering machine, What a way to run a business.. This company built our pool May 2010 and had problems every step of the way. The owner "Jeff" disappeared for 2 months this summer and said he changed his email address. He is a fraud and a fake and you need to call me before considering this company. I can email you all the issues we had at every stage of construction. "Jeff" the owner can double talk all day and tell you what you want to hear. He will not correct a problem and demanded more money to continue building even though their were outstanding issues. We had to send the police to his store to get answers and he still has not made a real effort for a local small business. My cell is 484-437-1897. We will be taking him to court any day. I can really help you make an informed decision on a pool builder. Thanks, Rob.
indisbelief
The absolute worst in communication and follow up. Invariably, there are questions/issues with a project of this nature (pool and spa). When you get Jeff in person, it was always a subs fault, but he will fix it! When he leaves, you never hear from him. If you are lucky enough to get one of his staff (who are courtesy and friendly), they always need to talk to Jeff or will tell Jeff....again, this is where the trail runs cold. However, they always call and show up for opening and closing (as long as you have a check for them). STAY AWAY......Jeff does not understand that communicating and responding to customers is part of the business.
