Summer Buyer
So we have officially become somewhat "summer buyers" because we recently purchased a Pelican Bay after MONTHS of researching! The tub was delivered today and I can't wait to get it set up and going... Are there any good tips or warnings when starting a tub up (filling and chemicals) that I should know? I'm just so excited to start using it, the electrician came today and hooked it up, so its ready to go when we are! Thanks for all the input everyone has put in, it really helped in our buying process! Thanks, Summer Buyer

Failing that I put my hose in my filter weir and filled up from there. I then turned on the hottub. Let it go through it's priming cycle and start-up. Then I set the temp at 104. I then put my start up chemicals in and my floater (bromine or chlorine or inserts if you have em).And then I went to sleep for the night. By morning time you should be at or close to temp and that would be a good time to start your water sampling and dosing. Once you have that all equalled out by the late afternoon or evening then jump in!! P.S - I would give your start up chemicals a good 2 - 3 hours to level and get mixed in. Invariably you will need to adjust.
