That only works at the local level. It's not like buying a DVD on Ebay, shipping can be a pain. Nitrousman Posted August 1, 2007 Author Report Share Posted August 1, 2007 I've been looking on Craigslist for a while and thought I had found the tub I wanted so I gave the guy a deposit after looking at it and agreeing to a price. We set it up for me to come over the weekend and pick it up. 2 days later the guy calls me and says someone else is giving him his asking price so he's going to mail me my deposit back. I was like what the hell was the deposit for then if you're just going to sell it out from underneath me?? He said his wife told him he should have asked more money for it so he decided to give it to the other guy at his asking price. What a Di*k! I even had him write me a receipt for the deposit and the balance I owed on the tub. I thought I could trust this TOOL since he's a cop but I guess not.
