Recommended Posts

I own a used 03 qca majestic,1 of the bottom jets has a drip wear the hose connects.I was told by a qca tech to just grab the hose fermly and twist and wiggle, that did not work,so i used a pair of vise grips and grabbed the hose close to the joint and twisted.that worked.i had to cut off "2 of the hose.im not sure about how to clean out were the hose goes into the jet.im afraid of taking too much matiral from inside wear the hose connects.and do i glue both the jet and the hose?thanx ahead of time

make sure you use a primer to clean the area before you apply the glue to the hose and the joint...

Primer the flex hose well to soften the material so the glue holds better. Use a "heavy body" cement Like Oatey Green, or Weldon 795. Apply primer and glue to both the pipe and the fitting. On the edge of the fitting so that the glue does not get deep into the jet.
