buffip Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 TIA for any replies! HS Vanguard, 9.895 pre-tax + 225 for cover. Seems high to me. Thoughts? Quote
cman Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 I was about to purchase a Vanguard in NY this weekend for $8500 including cover, starter kit, steps, etc. But ended up buying a Grandee for $9000 all included. I was very happy with that deal. Your price is extremely high. IMO Quote
hottublady Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 What else is included? Is this sale price or full retail? I bet that's full retail. Does it include delivery & set up, chemicals, cover, and subpanel? Quote
soakerman Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 check Costco on the "highlife " model and see if that will work for you as it is alot less expensive and if you don't like the dealer service from Hot Springs then you can get your money back no hassle. To get a firm price on a spa is tough as dealers will keep you guessing. I personally looked at a vanguard and the three dealers I went to all H.S. dealers had a low of $7500.00 and a high of $9500.00 FOR THE EXACT SAME SPA!!! all within a two day period of time and wouldn't give me a solid price til I acted as if I was going to actually buy the thing then the price dropped by thousands! I don't like that kind of sales experiance and think it belittles the average consumer that is willing to pay a reasonable cost but not a highjacked price based on customer ignorance. Shop around as these tubs don't appreciate and are not collectors items. good luck to you! Quote
