notsure
Hello, we are currently researching a heating option for our proposed 16x32 in ground rectangular pool. we live in Long Island NY where we really only have 3.5 mos of pool use from late May to early september b/c of the air temp. I have heard the heat pumps are cheaper to run than gas/oil but that they do not keep the pool warm enough. the average summer temp in long island is around 80-85 degrees. any advice, opinions? To me if the heat pump will only keep the pool at the same temp as the air, that is not warm enough, i want it a few degrees higher! TIA!
