SpaNoob88
I have a grandee, that was leaking like a SOB when I filled it. After pulling off panels I noticed this cavity that looks like it has a purpose with a tube ending there. It seemed off so I plugged it. Before I fill the tub and try again, can anyone tell me what this is and why it exists?
CanadianSpaTech
The white part on the end is likely a one way check valve and is designed to allow air to be sucked in when you engage the air injection for the jets and water from getting out... OR... it could just be a plug. Look into the bottom of it. Example only:
Mike223
It's a piece of 3/4" conduit for speaker wiring - it does not need to be plugged off. That cavity is for optional audio transducers. Your leak source is elsewhere. Possible rodent damage.
