kwest Posted July 25, 2022 Report Share Posted July 25, 2022 Rough rust on bottom of metal wall. Our contractor said it was fine to put the vinyl overtop. We are worried that the rusted areas will tear the vinyl in the future. I included some pictures. I looked up some facts online about rust on pools and all posts say the rough rust needs to be addressed before anything else. Do we need to sand it and paint it?
