coupe1942
I have seen maybe four or five videos on YouTube regarding the use of a tankless water heater, pump and DC battery setup to heat their hot tub with. One was called a redneck hot tub. Any rate, anyone else use this method to cut down on electrical costs of heating their hot tub? I am considering doing such and was hoping to find the wiring diagram and water lines lay out for doing such. The videos use either the 6L or 12L tankless water heaters. Either seems to work fine for filling a hot tub pretty quickly and heating the water rapidly. Thanks for any info on such. Unfortunately, YouTube really does not post any email addresses to correspond with the video owners with to answer questions. philip5660
Also interested in this. Saw one video where the guy had this monstrosity using an external pump albeit technically working. I'd love to be able to add the gas heater Inline to my existing pump if the connectors were available and didn't restrict the flow and cause an error
Tube Guy
I do it. I have a high-quality tankless water heater and have used it numerous times to fill my spa. No problem.
