Coast Spas - External overflow hose freezing

Hi Everyone. I have a coast spa (curve series) and it has a sealed filter canister. Because of this design (and the fact it has a cup holder type cover that goes over it) they add a drain hole that runs through a hose to the front corner of the spa. It has been no issue... until now.

Now that it's cold outside that hose has frozen, and with the condensation of the cover dripping down / people using the spa the filter area isn't draining anymore (since the external hose is frozen).

Anyone dealt with something like this / seen this in another tub before? Would love to hear any advice you have :(
