sherripuckett
I have an inground, liner pool that is 4 years old. It has been a nightmare since it was installed. Water has always leaked behind the liner. Over the years they have tried to rectify the problem but have been unsuccessful. At the end of the season last year, they decided that the liner needed to been taken up and they needed to redo the bottom of the pool. They fixed the bottom installed the new liner (that we purchased), filled it and closed the pool. After we opend the pool and put all the chemicals and salt in, the liner had slipped down in three places and water was behind the liner. They came out last week to fix it. I did not see this, but my neighbor did. As they were getting the water out of the pool, they were putting it back in! She said they kept sticking their fingers behind the liner to smell of the water. Now one of the places has slipped out again. There is water behind my liner and the bottom of the pool feels gritty. This morning my pump would not backwash. I have been ripped off. We have not had one season that was enjoyable. Is there any consumer protection? Apollo217
What do you mean by water behind the pool liner? Do you mean groundwater coming up under the pool? Have they put liner lock on the liner to help hold it in place?
