Ok so I finally have had clear water for a week now. Ph looks great, alkalinity looks great but I am blowing through bromine. Is this normal? We are 2-3 people using for 15 minutes daily and after use I put in 3-6 teaspoons daily. Is this normal? I am blowing through bromine. I put in 3 teaspoons last night and today the strip is showing low to no bromine.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks all

I suggest you read Bromine for beginners and follow that It is a step by step guide that works. It does require that you get a decent test kit and not use strips, they are worthless.. You are testing with strips and from the sound of it you are using a one step bromine product (sodium bromide/dichlor). This is not the way to do bromine if you want it to be trouble free.

I suggested you read this in your other post from October that you never continued in nor answered me. Help is being offered but you do not want to take it, it seems. If that is the case I really don't have time to waste on on you and neither do the others in this forum.

Strips are not going to give you the info you need to test and balance your water. Period. I also asked exactly WHAT products you were using and you never replied. Without good test results and knowing exactly what you are adding to the water there is nothing that we can do to help you.
