decadude
I had a pool guy come out and he indicated to me I had a bad control board and showed where water had gotten in and damaged the board. The warranty company indicated that they would cover the troubleshooting but not the board replacing. (just bought a new house this is a home warranty) So I buy the board online and plug it in and nothing the board does not even give a display. If I remember correctly the display on the other board worked fine, but i do know computers and the guy showed me the yellow discoloration of the board. The spas Heater Display Cover was removed at one point and time and this is the reason for the water damage. I read online about how the only replacement board will work with a stack flue sensor rather than a stack flue switch. I am not able to locate whether I have a stack flue sensor or switch and I have no clue if this pool guy is right. He stated he used to work for starite so I am assuming he knows the equipment. I had another pool repair guy say i was a board of some sort inside this box. He came out prior to the other guy on another matter I was having with my pools backwash line. So he spent a little time on the spa heater. I am 10 kinds of confused on this and hope I can figure something out here. thanks to all who reply

decadude
I found my manual E06 errors mean the issue is related to fuel supply, thermal regulator, check for correct orifices. Not sure how to check if gas is on
decadude
I noticed when the heater comes on it reads 126 degrees then kicks over to E06 could this be the thermistor. Also I am curious if this is the thermal regulator I am assuming so but im pretty new to all this and learning. I am still not sure how to check if I have a stack flue switch or stack flue sensor.
