scoopup
My friends pool only has a pipe sticking out of the ground that is suppose to suck air in for the spa. Is there any way to add a blower or do you have to install new plumming?
Pool Clown
Usually when you get a blower, the documentation will specify a required pipe size as not to void the warranty. This pipe size must be through and through, meaning, that if your air line is only 1 inch coming out of the ground, you can't just bush up to 2 inch to accommodate the blowers 2 inch requirement. The line coming out of the ground is your pipe size. So, unless you have a 1 1/2" or larger coming out of the ground, you probably won't be able to use a blower. I just wante to make sure that was the correct place to install the blower. Thanks in advance,
Pool Clown
Great! In that case, if you had not purchased yet, I recommend a Polaris 2hp QT blower.
